"Doubt"

[***I DO NOT OWN these images/NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED***]
"doubt can be a bond as powerful and sustaining as certainty, when u are lost you are not alone." - Father Flynn  (Phillip Seymour Hoffman),Doubt.

Doubt is about a nun, priest, doubt and certainty. The movie is set in St. Nicolas Church School in the Bronx in 1964. Sister Aloysius'  (Meryl Streep) had an accusation against Father Flynn, (Seymour), of his improper relationship to a 12-year-old student. Sister James (Amy Adams)is  caught in the middle of two savages, fighting for what they stand to be right.

Hoffman's performance was astounding, not giving too much on his facial expressions, leaves audiences  skeptic. Did he? or did he not? we dont really know. Streep's character on the other hand demonstrated a strong persona of certainty even with no evidence at hand.  I admired Amy Adams '  portrayal of Sister James, audiences are taken by the vulnerability and innocence she manifested.

"A great narrative suspense" as the critics are raving, the film leaves viewers with ambiguity and "Doubt".
