[***I DO NOT OWN these images/NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED***]i just saw rachel getting married, anne hathaway's first ever oscar nominated role. Sure, its unlikely to see the Princess Diaries actress become an ex-heroin addict, but i still dont think its worthy.
Dont get me wrong, i simply love the film. Its a family drama, with an unpredictable story that keeps you wanting more. i fell inlove with kym's character (anne hathaway), i couldnt imagine myself, being in her shoes, and that pain she went through was everyone's worst nightmare. But is her acting worth the oscar buzz? The performance was certainly dry and forced., any hollywood starlet given that remarkable script could pull off the so-called "acting" she demonstrated.
I dont hate her as an actress, I just don't see why she's on the same level as meryl, or kate. The people behind the Oscars need to raise their bars a little higher next time.
